Districts went well Monday, the following teams are advancing the state contest later this month:

Nursery & Landscape
Also competed but not advancing to state Entomology and Meats Evaluation
Thursday the FFA Knowledge team and 3 public speakers will compete for their chance to advance to state.
Ballard FFA
We had 4 teams compete at Central District contest yesterday in Warrensburg. Our chapter congratulates all of our teams on their success and hard work throughout contest season.
We want to give a big congratulations to Serenity Morris for finishing as the 12th top scoring individual out of 133 students in Livestock judging!!
Also congratulations to Kayla Schmitt, Kailee Smith, Dylan Tippie, and Donovan Hinirichs for finishing in the top 50 in the horse judging, livestock judging and meats contest!
Don't forget the Car Show this Saturday at Ballard School!
Drexel FFA
Results from District Contest won't be finalized until later but as of right now 3 Drexel FFA teams have qualified to State!!
Dairy Foods-7th/37 schools with Caleb Wright placing 8th/132 students!!
Entomology-7th/30 schools with Andrea Cordell placing 10th/105 students!!
Nursery/Landscaping-9th/17 schools!!
Dairy Cattle Judging unfortunately didn't advance to State, however Dylan Fillinger placed 15th/120 students!! The students worked hard this year and were able to celebrate with some pizza on the way home!!
Rich Hill FFA
