Search Warrant Served in Lamar

On 4/15/2019, Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team served a State Search Warrant at 1702 Broadway in Lamar, Missouri. ODET Detectives arrested Joseph Wilkerson, 71 years of age, for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer.

Mr. Wilkerson assaulted an ODET Detective during the Search Warrant and was also found to be in Possession of multiple bags of Suspected Marijuana which is consistent with someone selling Marijuana.

ODET Detectives also located and seized $14,500 in US Currency which was believed to be proceeds of selling Marijuana. Lamar Police Department also assisted in serving the Search warrant.

Charges are pending currently with the Barton County Prosecutor's Office. Wilkerson was transported to Barton County Jail.
