The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2006 Toyota Scion driven by driven by 28 year old Derek J. Ramsey of Belton, Missouri ran off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Derek J. Ramsey along with a passenger in his vehicle 51 year old Melinda L. Ramsey of Belton, Missouri both sustained moderate injuries in this accident and both were transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by S and S Tow.
