Burglary in Rockville

On May 3, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to Down Home Butcher on NW 1001 Road in reference to a burglary.

Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the business owner, Norman Williamson. Williamson stated he had left his business at 6:30 p.m. the previous evening. When he arrived at his shop the morning of May 3, he discovered the rear door to his business standing wide open.

Williamson showed the deputy the marks on the door and the fence surrounding the business. Williamson stated that they suspect tried to get into the shop area of the business, but were unsuccessful.

It was undetermined at the time of this report if anything was missing from the shop or freezers.
