From the desk of Bates County Coroner Greg Mullinax

Today, May 13, 2019, I have concluded my investigation into the death of Cindy L. McCoy, who was found deceased May 1, 2019 at Butler City Lake in Bates County. This afternoon, I certified the death as Homicide.

Mrs. McCoy died as a result of Multiple Blunt Force Trauma, as it is probable that she was run over by a motor vehicle.

I have today forwarded my investigation to the Prosecuting Attorney of Bates County.
