Ronald Steinmetz, 65 of Butler, Missouri passed away May 9, 2019 at his home in Butler. Cremation, with memorial services scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Calvary Lutheran Church, 7500 Oak Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64114.

Ronald “Mad Dog” Eugene Steinmetz was born October 4, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas to Carl and Anna Radcliff Steinmetz. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and following graduation Ron joined the US Navy. In 1979 he was united in marriage to Theresa “Tish” Smith.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Tish Steinmetz, daughter Krista Steinmetz-Spaeth, granddaughters, Candy Isabella Spaeth and Kayla Aubrey Riggs, brothers Donald and Carl Steinmetz, along with many extended family members and friends.
