Henry Country Route C CLOSED North of Route 7 Until Further Notice Due to Flooding

Henry County – Henry County Route C is CLOSED until further notice approximately one half mile south of the Tebow Creek bridge east of Clinton due to flooding, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

MoDOT crews closed the highway to traffic Monday morning when water from Truman Lake backed up into a drainage pipe, possibly undermining the highway.

This route is used frequently by drivers traveling between Lincoln and Clinton.

Crews will not be able to examine the highway for possible damage until the water level at Truman Lake recedes.
No detour is being signed. Drivers are urged to find alternate routes around the closing.
