The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2011 Dodge Dakota driven by 67 year old Dennis J. Messmer of Appleton City, Missouri conducted a lane change and struck the 2018 Ford F-150 driven by Alan E. Crook of Clinton, Missouri. After impact the Dodge Dakota traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a concrete barrier.
Mr. Messmer sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton for treatment.
The Dodge was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by Golden Valley Tow of Clinton.
