Two Nevada residents were charged Wednesday afternoon as the investigation into two separate cases were completed.
Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher said his office took a report Tuesday morning of a burglary on Overland Road, East of Nevada and a second burglary was reported that afternoon on Indigo Road, North East of Nevada.
Sheriff Mosher said the vehicle was stopped Tuesday evening and impounded as evidence after being spotted by a citizen. “Detectives executed a search warrant for the vehicle and located stolen property from both burglaries.
The suspects have been identified as 19-year-old Jared J Sturm of Nevada and 19-year-old Austin W Gray of Nevada. Both suspects have been charged with:
Two counts - Burglary 2nd Degree
Two counts - Property Damage 1st Degree
Two counts - Stealing
Two counts - Property Damage 1st Degree
Two counts - Stealing
Both Gray and Sturm are being held in the Vernon County Jail on $5,000 cash only bonds.
