It's a big day today at the funeral home. It is Mallory Nelson Sutton's last day for a while as she will be taking some time to welcome a new little man into this world.
We are so excited to meet him and know her entire family cannot wait! We can't believe how fast time has gone, so please join us in congratulating her! When the time is right, Mallory will be back to help us take care of our families just as she always has. We will miss her very much but are so excited for her.

In the meantime, many of you know Pauline Morrow from her years managing Casey's on Orange Street until her retirement. While stopping for lunch I would often give Pauline a hard time and she would always send it right back. Pauline is a great friend to us at the funeral home, often bringing in treats when she knows we're busy, and we really like her. So we asked her to come help us out in Mallory's absence. She has been spending the last few weeks working with Mallory learning our ways of doing things.
Serving funeral families and also the Coroner's office can make for a busy place at times - and it's nice to see a friendly, familiar face in difficult times. Pauline is certainly that. I will enjoy having her around to harass on a daily basis for a while!!
That's the news from our office!
