Over twenty law enforcement officers from the Harrisonville Police Department and Cass County Sheriff’s Office surrounded and searched the area with the assistance of two Cass County K9 Teams and UAV. At around 12:00 p.m. the subject was located by a Cass County Sheriff’s Office K9 team hiding in a pond partially submerged under the water. He was taken into custody and evaluated by EMS, then transported to the Cass County Jail.
“The quick response of deputies and officers gave us the ability to surround an area that the suspect could not escape. The extremely hot temperature made this manhunt more dangerous. The fact that the suspect was contained and located within our search area shows what good training and multi-agency cooperation can do,” said Sheriff Jeff Weber.
The subject, Jesse D. Fair, 21, Harrisonville is wanted by numerous agencies on active warrants.
Jesse Fair was arrested and held on the following warrants:
3 Municipal Warrants, City of Harrisonville, Bond $1000.00 Cash or Surety
Contempt of Court, City of Belton, $2400.00 10% Cash or Surety
Failure to Appear – Resisting Arrest, Johnson County, MO., $400.00 Cash Only
Probation/Parole Violation, State of Missouri, No Bond
Today Cass County Prosecutors charged Jesse D. Fair with Resisting Arrest By Fleeing Creating a Substantial Risk of Serious Injury or Death, bond was set at $100,000.00 Cash Only.
Prosecutors also charged Jesse Fair with Resisting Arrest and Accessory Stealing related to incident on July 3, 2019 that occurred in the 21000 block of S. McKenzie Road near Strasburg. Bond in this case is set at $10,000.00 Cash Only.
