Osceola man killed in dune buggy accident near Wheatland

On 7/19/19 around 10:55pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Hickory County responded to a one vehicle dune buggy accident on CR 189 around 1.2 miles south of Wheatland, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1971 Volkswagen Dunebuggy driven by 56 year old Jon R. Brady of Osceola, Missouri ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned ejecting the driver.

Mr. Brady was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and he was transported to Sheldon Goodrich Funeral Home in Osceola, Missouri.The dunebuggy was towed from the scene by Hickory County Tow.

This is Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 55th Fatality of 2019.
