The Kansas State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Honda Civic driven by 69 year old Karen Ellis of LaCygne, Kansas was southbound in the left lane of U69 when she traveled into the median, driver over corrected and traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned several time.
Karen Ellis along with a passenger in her vehicle 29 year old Jennifer Ellis of LaCygne, Kansas both sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by Morse Auto Salvage & Tow.
