The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the southbound 2005 Chevrolet truck driven by 61 year old Sonny L. Bradford of Warsaw, Missouri failed to negotiate a left hand curve and ran off the right side of the roadway. After leaving the roadway the vehicle struck a warning sign and trees before coming to rest.
Mr. Bradford sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was airlifted to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri for treatment.
A passenger in the vehicle 44 year old Michael K. Orr of Warsaw was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and he was transported to the Benton County Coroner's Office.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the crash by Tolivers Tow. This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 37th Fatality Crash of 2019.
