Harrisonville Police Department received Narcan supplies and training last week

The Harrisonville Police Department received Narcan supplies and training last week. Almost all patrol officers and detectives are certified to carry and administer Narcan to save someone's life in an overdose emergency.

Last night our Officers utilized this new tool for the first time to revive someone suffering a medical emergency from drug usage.

We're both saddened that this tool is now necessary, but pleased that we are able to provide another lifesaving service to the citizens of Harrisonville. 

If you or a loved one is suffering from addiction please seek help before it is too late. It is our utmost hope that we never have to use Narcan again.
