When I arrived a short time later officers of the Bates County Sheriff's Office took me to a location where they had found a deceased male. Officers had been diligently searching the area for a missing person.
The deceased is identified as Rexford L. Hurshman. Although foul play is not suspected, the cause of Mr. Hurshman's death remains under investigation at this time. I will provide additional information in due time.
