This month’s resident spotlight is on Betty Dubray. Betty was born on Janurary 5th,1952 in Butler Missouri, the 7th of 12 children. She married Ira Dubray on May 10th 1969. The couple was blessed with 3 children(all girls.)
Betty was a stay at home mom and taking care of her husband, who spent his time working at Cox’s Hide and Feed. After raising her family Betty worked about 15 years at Casey's.
Betty is grandma to nine grandchildren and she is so proud of each one of them. She loves spending time with her kids, being outside, gardening,fishing and cooking. Fried chicken was a family favorite when she was at home and she definitely has a sweet tooth. She loves Fall and Spring. She is not an avid sports watcher but she did enjoy watching the Chiefs with her husband.
“Do everything right and stay out of trouble” is her advice to her peers. For the staff at Medicalodges she tells us to “grow up and stay smart.”
