Gayle Ann Strader, 71, passed away on October 16, 2019 surrounded by her family at the Appleton City Manor in Appleton City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Ralph and Norma (Cecil) Stine, born on January 15, 1948. She spent her formative years in the Kansas City, Missouri, graduating from Center High School in Kansas City in 1967. After the completion of her education, she met and married the love of her life, Ronald Strader on September 20, 1968, and from this union two daughters were born: Kris and Sheri.

Gayle began a career in the food service industry early in life at Research Hospital in Kansas City, where she served as a food service supervisor for more than 35 years. Apart from this, she was a devoted Christian and longtime member of Beacon Baptist Church and Loma Vista Baptist Church. Her family was the most important part of her life, especially the times spent with her grandchildren. One of her most cherished pastimes was watching and sleeping through television shows. Gayle especially enjoyed her soap operas, which her family regularly got to hear about. She always had a smile on her face that lit up the room and was a down-to-earth person, who was easy going and easy to talk to. She will be deeply missed by her many friends and family.

She was preceded in death by Her father Ralph D. Stine and mother Norma L Stine (Cecil); brothers: Leonard Langford and Dick Langford.

Gayle is survived by Husband Ronald Strader of Appleton City, Missouri; daughters: Kris and Kent Casey of Kansas City, Missouri, Sheri & Jeff Fawcett’e of Appleton City, Missouri; grandchildren: Anastashia Fawcett’e, Zachary Fawcett’e, Hope Fawcett’e, Logan Fawcett’e, Grace Fawcett’e and Noel Fawcett’e; great-grandchildren: Atlas Fawcett’e and Aiyden Fawcett’e.; one sister, Wanda Brottlund of Fargo, North Dakota, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
