The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1995 Lexus LS400 driven by 29 year old Tracy Marie Cox of Harrisonville, Missouri turned into the path and struck the 1998 Ford Mustang driven by 24 year old Jason L. Hook of Freeman, Missouri.
Both Hook and Cox sustained serious injuries in this accident and both were transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by J's Southland Tow.
