The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2006 Hyundai driven by 19 year old Dallas D. Henderson of Belton, Missouri was traveling at a excessive speed, traveled off the roadway and stuck a embankment.
Mr. Henderson sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by Central Cass Fire to Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
A passenger in the vehicle 20 year old Ardell W. Hooker of Belton, Missouri was life flighted to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri and he was pronounced dead on 10/6/19 at 15:26 hour.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the crash by Miller Tow of Harrisonville.
This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 56th fatality of 2019.
