THANKFUL FOR those who have donated to our BCMH Cares fund this year, a special fund that provides FREE mammograms (as well as some follow-up services when needed) to uninsured and underinsured women in our area.
Studio M Salon And Boutique of Butler donated the proceeds from a gift basket raffle during their anniversary celebration in October, with $305 going to BCMH Cares. Studio M also donated a gift basket to the Miami R-1 Pink Out event in October, who donates their proceeds to BCMH Cares as well.
Thank you, Jayme McElwain and Studio M employees for this generous donation. Jayme said she wanted to donate to donate to BCMH Cares in honor of her great grandmother, who passed away due to breast cancer when Jayme was very young.
Miami Eagles held their annual Pink Out games in early October, and as they have in the past few years, these young students donated all proceeds from the games, bake sale and month-long raffle to BCMH Cares, totalling $1,994.21.
