Hume Baptist Church Christmas program this Sunday


The community of Hume was saddened by the loss of Eileen Regers. Eileen was very deeply involved in our community for many years. She was always a hard worker and worked up until the day she went into the hospital. She will be greatly missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. 
The community of Hume also extends their sympathy to David Eugene Brooks, Age 76 of Independence, Missouri who recently passed away. Mr. Brooks was a graduate of Hume High School. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

On Saturday, December 14th there will be a Candy Cane Hunt in the Hume Park sponsored by the Hume High School National Honor Society at 10:00 a.m. please meet in front of the Legion Hall. At 10:30 a.m. Santa Claus will be at the Legion Hall in Hume until 11:30 a.m. to see all the children. Come by and get a treat from Santa.

The Hume Community Ladies Christmas Tea will be held at the Hume Christian Church on Sunday Dec. 15th at 4:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. All ladies are invited for a fun time!! Bring a snack to share.

The Hume Garden Club will be judging lights and decorations in the Hume area on Tuesday, Dec. 17. So everyone get your lights up and on by the 17th at 6:00 p.m.

Hume Baptist Church News: The Baptist Church will hold their Christmas program on Sunday, Dec 15 at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will follow the program.

Hume United Methodist Church News: Kid's Klub last Wednesday for the 2019 year will be Dec. 18. We will resume Kid's Klub following the return to school. The annual Christmas program will be held Dec. 22 at 7:00 p.m. with refreshments to follow.
