Adrian to cancel classes Wednesday

School will be cancelled on Wednesday February 5, 2020 due to anticipated staff and student absences for those attending the Chiefs Super Bowl victory celebration. The Harrisonville School District and Belton School District has also cancelled classes for Wednesday for the same reasons. This means there will be no Cass Career Center or BOSCO classes that day.

It is projected that we would have a statistically significant number of students absent from school. Making it a fiscally sound decision to cancel school for the celebration. We also have a significant number of staff that are attending the event and anticipate that we would have difficulty covering the classrooms with certified teachers and substitutes.

If the weather dictates a change in the parade date and time, the district will broadcast updated information.
