BCMH Employee of the month - April 2020

Carmen Matter is recognized as the Bates County Memorial Hospital Employee of the Month for April, 2020. Carmen began her employment as a Registered Nurse in April, 1997 where she worked on the Med/Surg and Critical Care Units. In 2000, Carmen transferred to Infection Control. 

As the hospital’s Infection Control Coordinator, Carmen has been instrumental in providing guidance and leadership with the current Coronavirus pandemic. Her leadership and support during these challenging times has been critical to the hospital’s efforts in ensuring a safe environment for our patients, staff and visitors. 

Carmen obtained her Certification as an Infection Preventionist by the Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology in 2016. The hospital is proud to honor Carmen who is very deserving of this recognition.
