Domestic call leads to arrest in Henry County

On Monday, April 20, 2020 just after 4:00 a.m. Henry County Sheriff's Deputy Logan and Cpl.Swindell responded to 300 block of SE 701 on a domestic disturbance/assault. Deputies found the suspect on top of a 40 foot tower at the residence with a rope. 

The suspect refused to come down from the tower. Tightwad Fire personnel and Golden Valley Ambulance responded to assist on the scene as well as Cpl. Dody.

After nearly 6 hours of negotiation, the suspect decided to come down from the tower. 

During his descent however, the suspect fell from the last 6-8 feet of the tower onto the ground. 

The suspect, Chance D. Bray, age 51, of the residence, was taken into custody and transported to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.
