The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2016 Ford Explorer driven by 39 year old Eric W. Travis of Nevada, Missouri failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the roadway, striking a embankment.
Mr. Travis sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by a Vernon County Sheriff's Deputy to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by Garwood's Wrecker Service of Nevada.
