I'm happy to share that last night the Board of Aldermen approved a one-year extension to the City's contract with Municipal Waste Services.
The new agreement includes the current service of curbside trash and recycling and the addition of year-round collection of yard waste without any price increase. I worked hard as an alderman when the contract was initially signed to have it include year-round yard waste collection.
