The Bates County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate two new Deputy recruits. Deputy Makayla Krantz and Deputy Tyler Arwood both graduated from the Cass County Sheriffs Office Police Academy today.

Deputy Krantz has worked for the Sheriff’s Office since November of 2018. Deputy Krantz has been a Communications Officer while continuing her education at the Police Academy

Deputy Arwood has worked for the Sheriff’s Office since June of 2017. Deputy Arwood has been a Communications Officer and Detention Officer while continuing his education at the Police Academy.

We also would like to say Thank You to Sheriff Jeff Weber for offering the police academy to our employees and the relationship we have with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
