The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2009 Ford driven by 44 year old Phillip Fry of Clinton, Missouri ran off the roadway and struck an embankment.
Mr. Fry sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by Gary's Tow.
