FLASHBACK: Full service on the strip

This stately full service gas station, once owned by Harvey Oberweather (pictured) was host to many businesses over the years including a cafe, a bar, a donut shop, a bus stop and more. Located on the west side of Orange street near Harrison, it was a popular stop for travelers prior to the I-49 (then 71 highway) bypass that channeled traffic away from the Butler strip.
