From the Harrisonville Police Department

On June 23rd, 2020 charges in a 2017 case were filed against Joseph F. Dahman, 25-year-old from Harrisonville. Currently, Joseph is wanted on 5 counts of Sexual Contact with a Student. A bond of $50,000.00 cash only has been set.

Joseph is a former coach and teacher at Harrisonville High School. In 2017 a Harrisonville Police Department School Resource Officer was notified of inappropriate contact between Joseph and a student. 

As the investigation continued, a second student was identified as a possible victim. This investigation continued and in May of 2020 the Harrisonville Police Department received DNA results which had been collected from items belonging to a victim which matched Joseph’s DNA.
