Thelma Berniece Wheatley, age 105 of Butler, Missouri died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Medicalodge of Butler. She was born March 18, 1915 to Hal Denzil and Edith Belle Hughes Cornell in Ballard, Missouri.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Sue Lockard of Butler, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Lurenda Morris of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Ruby Cornell of Independence, Missouri; three grandsons, Alan Lockard and wife Christy and Dwayne Lockard and wife Lona, all of Butler, Missouri and Bryan Morris and wife Amy of Springfield, Missouri; 27 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Roy Morris and Roy Wheatley; son, Jimmy LeRoy Morris; grandsons, Reid Worley, Bill Lockard and Jimmy Cornell Morris; and six siblings.
