The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when two Harley Davidson Motorcycle's were heading northbound when the bike in the back struck the back of the other bike ejecting both drivers.
Fred McInnis, 66 years old from Liberty, Missouri was pronounced dead at Belton Regional Hospital in Belton.
The other rider 52 year old Richard H. O'Connell of Peculiar, Missouri sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Belton Regional Medical Center.
