Obituary - Donald R. Crabbs

Donald R. Crabbs Sr., age 76, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 16, 2020.

A private family service will be held on a later date.

Donald was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on March 15, 1944 to Max Crabbs and Marjorie (Crane) Crabbs. Throughout Donald’s life he was a truck driver, delivering various products throughout the country. On the road others would recognize him by his handle, “Crabby.” In the early Winter of 1962, Donald was joined in marriage with his wife Wanda (Williams) on November 3rd. Together they were blessed with three children, Donald Jr., Michael, and Patty. In life he enjoyed fishing and working for Jay Wolf Honda doing Dealer Trade Transportation.

Donald was preceded in life by his parents, Max and Marjorie Crabbs; and two brothers, Leroy Crabbs and Gerald “Bud” Crabbs.

He is survived by his loving wife of over fifty-seven years, Wanda Crabbs; two sons, Donald R. Crabbs Jr. and Michael Crabbs (Rebecca); daughter, Patty L. Gregory (John); four grandchildren, Lindsey Inmon (Drew), Joseph Gregory (Dee), Kyle Crabbs (Jenna), and Ember Sipes; and four great grandchildren, Brayden, Jaxon, Aubrie, and Mason.
