Leon grew up in the Rich Hill area and graduated from Rich Hill High School Class of 1977. He has lived in Richards for the past 40 years. Leon has worked as a cattle rancher all his life. He was known as a kindhearted man who was always willing to do for others when needed. He enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his granddaughter.
In addition to his wife Cindi, he is survived by two sons, Tyler Gill, Rich Hill, MO, and Colby Gill, Richards, MO; one granddaughter, Mariana Gill; a sister, Diana Wright (Russ), Maysville, MO; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
