UPDATE:
I received a call from the manager of the Missouri Geological Survey in Rolla, Missouri late Wednesday afternoon informing me that they WILL BE bringing electronic equipment to the sinkhole site this coming week to further detect the size and depth of the sinkhole and further evaluate the remediation needed.
NOTE:
Your Osage Township officials, Bates County Road and Bridge Supervisor, and Bates County Commission, REQUESTS THAT YOU AVOID this potentially dangerous site until it can be properly and safely repaired.
