Cooler weather made for the perfect setting today at Dr. Curtis Long’s Briarwood Ranch around noon as Missouri Governor Mike Parson and wife Teresa made an appearance. Parson came by invitation of Dr. Long, the Bates County Cattlemen and Women, and Heiman Agri Services.Despite showers, there was plenty of cover for the 100+ guests who enjoyed lunch by the Cattlemens Association and some encouraging words in a short speech from the governor.
