The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2016 Dodge Dart driven by a 13 year old teenager from Rich Hill, Missouri veered off the roadway striking a highway sign and embankment before coming to rest.
The female sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler for treatment.
The vehicle received extensive damages and it was towed from the scene of the accident by Phillips Towing of Nevada, Missouri.
