Obituary - Ted L. Weddle


Ted Weddle, 83, of Clinton, Missouri, formerly of Kansas City, Mo., and Warsaw, Mo., passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo., due to injuries sustained from a fall at his home in Clinton on September 11, 2020. He was born June 12, 1937 in Independence, Mo., the son of Roy G. Weddle and Mildred S. (Mortimore) Weddle. He married Judy Lynn Monday on February 18, 1989 in Blue Springs, Mo. She survives of the home. Ted was self employed as a house painter, inside and outside. He also hung wallpaper. He was raised in a Christian environment. He enjoyed woodworking and being outdoors. Ted faithfully and honorably served his country with the United States Army. In addition to his wife, surviving are two sons, Mike Weddle and wife Veronica, Independence, Mo., and Mark Weddle and wife Stephanie, Grain Valley, Mo.; one stepson, Jeff Davis and wife Kay, Harrison, Arkansas; one daughter, Teri Frazee and husband Kevin, Independence, Mo.; six grandchildren, Spencer Weddle, Logan Weddle, Jennifer, Stephanie, Devin Frazee and Rosalie McFadden; four great-grandchildren; one brother, David Weddle, Oak Grove, Mo.; two sisters, Diane Weddle, Clinton, Mo., and Sondra Cato and husband Dennis, Independence, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sara. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., just prior to the funeral service. Friends may call from noon to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Vansant Road Cemetery. Military services at the grave under the direction of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1894, Clinton.
