Just this week there have been at least two power outages that affected a rather significant number of people. Late yesterday afternoon, an outage affected the northwest portion of the city of Rich Hill for several hours. Then, just before midnight last night another outage killed the lights for about 275 residents in the Adrian area. Fortunately, work was completed in both cases quickly; reason for the outages unknown.
When temps are hovering near freezing and this happens, remember to check on neighbors who are elderly or have health issues. Good news- our local utility companies have proven time and time again they will do everything possible to get the lights back on in short order.
