Carl Walter Willcockson age 90 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday October 11,202 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Clinton Missouri.
Graveside services will be Friday October 16, 2020 at 11 AM at the Englewood Cemetery Clinton, Missouri. Memorial Contributions to the Home Delivered Meals Program at the Clinton Senior Center in Clinton, Missouri.
Carl was born in Chilhowee Missouri on April 21, 1930. He graduated from Noris High School and entered into the U.S. Army in 1948. Carl was married to his High School sweetheart Catherine Farr on October 23, 1948. From this union 8 children were welcomed into the world. They were married 72 years. Carl served in the Berlin Air Lift and then again in Korea, after completing his service he drove a truck for Stewart-Nattinger for 24 years. Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid gardener.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Stella Willcockson, one sister Ida Mae Thurman, one brother Gene Willcockson, and three sons Daniel Willcockson, David Willcockson, and James (Jimmy) Willcockson. Carl is survived by his wife Catherine Willcockson of Clinton Missouri, a sister Clara Belle Slagle of Columbia Missouri, five children Dale (Lori) Willcockson of Calhoun Missouri, Charlie (Stacey) Willcockson of Bella Vista Arkansas, Barbara (Kevin) Cook of Stockton Missouri, Bill Willcockson of Clinton Missouri, and Roger Willcockson of Stockton Missouri, and a daughter-in-law Donna Willcockson of Buffalo Missouri, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
