Lavena Fay Wehar, age 87 of Hume, Missouri died Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at her home in Hume. She was born June 11, 1933 to Silas and Verdia Blanche Coffman Edwards in Worland, Missouri.
Fay is survived by one son, John Slack and wife Deanna of Tuttle, Oklahoma; three daughters, Shelley Flood and husband Kim of North Bonneville, Washington, Charla Miller and husband Tim of Hume, Missouri and Tracie Carroll of Colorado; eight grandchildren, Jeff, Charla, Tim, Cori, Wylie, Daisy, Zane and Kelee; and three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Sage and Dominic. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Sonny Wehar on September 15, 2020; one brother, Charles Richard Edwards; two sisters, Jean Wisdom and Marian Hardwick; mother-in-law, Mary Wehar Saunders; son-in-law, John Schuman; grandson, Luke Schuman; and two nephews, Troy Wehar and Randy Wisdom.
