Don is survived by his life-long partner, Janet Chambers of Amsterdam, Missouri; daughter, Cindy Campbell and husband Richard of Washington state; two sisters, Wanda Johnston and wife Susie of Lake Port, California and Edna Tivis and husband Jim of Warrensburg, Missouri; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Don was preceded in death by his parents and son, Donald Gene Johnston.
