A heavy band of snow is currently moving south across the south and southwest sides of the KC metro. Visibilities are expected to decrease rapidly within this band of heavy snow.
Exercise caution if you are traveling through this area, especially those on I-35 between Ottawa north to Lenexa, I-70 between Tonganoxie west to Lawrence, and I-49 between Butler north to Harrisonville.
