Obituary - Glenn H. Block

Glenn H. Block, 82, Platte City, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021. He was born on February 26, 1938 in Miami County, Kansas the son of Herman and Ida Maria Sophia Prothe Block. He graduated from Paola High School in the Class of 1956. He worked as a farmer, in maintenance and as a concrete batchman. He served his country in the Kansas Army National Guard. Glenn was united in marriage to Karen Obermeier on June 19, 1960.

She preceded him in death on June 14, 2004. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry, his parents, and a brother, Dale Block. Glenn is survived by two sons, Larry Block(Eileen), and Garry Block(Leslie), a daughter, Kathy Korsten(Mark), seven grandchildren, Larry(Meaghan), Logan, Loren(Rachel), Lakin, Eli, Maddie, and Caleb, and three great grandchildren, Maeley, Gracelyn and Makenzie, and a sister in law, Guylene Block. 

Private family graveside service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Paola, Kansas.
