Local Emergency officials are aware of the situation and available if needed. Aside from MFA personnel, specialists with expertise in grain bin fires are on scene to provide guidance on mitigation.
The fire and smoldering grain are related to an explosion at the facility that occurred on Dec. 31st, 2020. MFA and third-party experts continue to investigate the cause of the explosion.
