The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2012 Ford Explorer driven by 69 year old Esther P. Reitz of Adrian, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway striking a tree, fence and telephone junction box before coming to rest.
A 14 year old female juvenile occupant in the vehicle sustained moderate injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by Adrian Tow.
