At approximately 6:30 AM, Benton County deputies responded to the commuter parking area at the 65 & 52 Jct Cole Camp at Pettis Counties request. The Pettis County Sheriff Office reported that a resident from their community was possibly suicidal and her phone located in our county.

Tragically, Benton County Deputies located the body of a 58 year-old female who took her own life. Our hearts and prayers go out to her family. I want to remind everyone that suicide is preventable.
