Rich Hill switches to Osage Valley power

As the city of Rich Hill has made the switch to Osage Valley power, several questions have arisen from patrons. In turn, the city has released the following information that should help alleviate confusion:

The electric crew did a final read on electric meters on Monday July 26th. On Tuesday July 27th Osage Valley officially became the electric provider. You will still receive a normal utility bill on August 1st for your consumption from June 15th - July 15th. This bill will be due as normal on August 15th. The city utility billing clerk is applying deposits to accounts, you will see this on your bill due September 15th. This bill will be your water, sewer, and trash from July 15 - August 15th as well as your electric service with the city of Rich Hill from July 15th - July 26th. Please remember the city of Rich Hill still provides your water, sewer and trash billing. You will still receive a monthly bill from the city of Rich Hill due on the 15th of every month with shut off on the 20th.
