As you may have noticed in last week’s printed edition, the Shopper came with several pages of local news and this week has even more! We are officially growing the Shopper into a full fledged newspaper that will be complete with comprehensive news coverage for Bates county and surrounding areas much like it used to be. It will remain a FREE newspaper which will be mailed to everyone in the region at no cost the first week of each month. It also will be free for pick up every week at our regular locations (list is elsewhere in this issue). Our final step in completing this process will be to offer a yearly subscription for anyone wishing to receive the paper the following three weeks a month. The price of the subscription will primarily cover mailing and handling costs and details about how to subscribe will be in upcoming editions. We are ‘bound and determined’ to serve the area with a useful, informative publication- we thank you for your patience and support.
